Hollywood actress, Dalyce Curry has tragically died in the Los Angeles wildfires, which have caused widespread destruction in areas like Altadena and Pasadena.
It was gathered that the 95-year-old actress was found dead in her Altadena home, which was destroyed by the Eaton Fire.
Curry was last seen on the evening of January 7 when her great-granddaughter, Dalyce Kelley, dropped her off at her house.
The next morning, Kelley attempted to check on her but was unable to get through due to police barricades in the wildfire-affected area.
After searching for her at a nearby evacuation center, the Pasadena Civic Centre, Kelley was informed by an officer that Curry’s home had been destroyed.
Days later, officials confirmed that Dalyce Curry’s remains were discovered in the ruins of her home.
Kelley shared the heartbreaking news on social media on January 12, writing, “About an hour ago the coroner confirmed her remains were indeed found at the property. #RIPMOMMADEE. We had a great run. She impacted my life in so many ways. This loss is devastating.”
Dalyce Curry’s death is among at least 24 fatalities linked to the wildfires that have devastated Los Angeles.
