Controversial rapper Speed Darlington has hit back at critics following his split from his lawyer, Stanley Alieke, vowing to keep making music amidst his ongoing feud with colleague Burna Boy.
Speed Darlington’s lawyer, Stanley Alieke recently announced that he no longer represents the rapper, just a week after Darlington was released from police custody following a petition by Burna Boy.
In a viral Instagram video, Speed Darlington dismissed those advising him to drop the feud, telling them to “keep their advice to themselves” if they were tired of supporting him.
He said, “I’m on my way to the studio for more music. My life is my content. Let nobody tell me what to post. If you are tired of supporting, you get lost. And let my God guide me.
“Support, support, how many of you spend money? I spend my own money, so shut up. Let me do what I want and keep your advice to yourself. I have been there and done that; the fear is not the same.”
Taking a swipe at Burna Boy, he captioned the video: “Always singing about police brutality in Nigeria. Yet he proceeds to hire police to hold me longer. And this is only what you can say? “Leave him and move on””
