A dramatic incident occurred in Ghana’s parliament on Friday when Colonel Isaac Amponsah, aide-de-camp to President Nana Akufo-Addo, fainted during the President’s State of the Nation address.
In a widely circulated video, Col. Amponsah seemed uneasy before unexpectedly collapsing while the President was speaking.
Prompt assistance was provided as people nearby helped him up and moved him to a safe area within the auditorium for medical attention.
The reason behind Col. Amponsah’s collapse remains unclear, with further updates anticipated.
