Hollywood actor, Jamie Foxx has ended his relationship with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp following a recent joke about no longer dating white women.
A source close to the 57-year-old actor and singer confirmed to PEOPLE on January 23 that Foxx and Huckstepp have gone their separate ways after a year-and-a-half of dating.
The two were first linked romantically in 2023, after Jamie Foxx’s six-year relationship with actress Katie Holmes ended in 2019.
Their last public appearance together was during a romantic getaway to Mexico on October 30, 2024.
Alyce Huckstepp had been a supportive presence in Foxx’s life, particularly during his recovery from a severe health crisis in April 2023.
The actor suffered a stroke caused by a brain bleed, leaving him in a coma for 20 days.
An insider previously described Huckstepp as a “great influence” during his recovery.
However, their relationship reportedly changed after their October trip.
Less than two months later, Foxx made headlines for joking about his dating preferences during his Netflix comedy special, “What Had Happened Was…”, released on December 10.
During the special, Foxx performed a comedic song at the piano, humorously claiming he had been “cured” of dating white women.
He sang, “Sisters, I’m here to tell you, I’ve been cured. I’ve been cured of everything, no more white girls. I’m serious, no more white girls. No more white girls. No more. No more white girls.”
“I’m back on the Black side of town! No more white girls. No more potato salad and raisins. No more white girls. No more spray tan, no more big t*tties no ass, no more white girls.”
The audience responded with cheers and laughter, but the joke appears to have marked a turning point in his relationship with Alyce Huckstepp.
This comes a few months after Jamie Foxx was released from the hospital after suffering “a medical complication”.
