Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has participated in the ongoing local government election by casting his vote early in the day.
He arrived at Unit 9, Sagba Abogunde Ward 2, in Ede North Local Government Area around 7:56 AM, accompanied by his supporters and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
After voting, Governor Ademola Adeleke praised the State Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) for ensuring a smooth and orderly election process.
He encouraged residents to come out and vote without fear, emphasizing the importance of a violence-free election.
The governor also called on political parties and voters to maintain peace both during and after the election.
Confident in his party’s chances, Adeleke expressed optimism that PDP candidates would secure victory.
“I want to urge everyone to come out and cast their votes. The election will be peaceful,” he assured.
