Liverpool, the current Premier League leaders, have been drawn against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League Round of 16.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will take on PSV Eindhoven, and Aston Villa will face Belgian side Club Brugge.
Defending champions Real Madrid, who eliminated Manchester City in the knockout phase play-offs, will go head-to-head with city rivals Atletico Madrid.
In another all-German clash, Bayern Munich will take on Bayer Leverkusen.
The winners of Bayern vs. Leverkusen will face either Aston Villa or Club Brugge in the quarter-finals.
If Arsenal overcome PSV, they will meet the winners of Real Madrid vs. Atletico Madrid in the next round.
Liverpool and PSG last met in the 2018-19 season, when the English club went on to win their sixth Champions League title.
Elsewhere, Inter Milan will take on Feyenoord, who recently knocked out AC Milan.
Barcelona will face Benfica, a side they defeated 5-4 in Lisbon during the league phase. Last season’s runners-up, Borussia Dortmund, will battle French club Lille.
