Marcus Rashford is reportedly on the verge of joining Aston Villa on loan after struggling to regain his place at Manchester United.
The move comes shortly after Aston Villa sold Colombian striker, Jhon Duran to Saudi club Al Nassr.
Marcus Rashford, 27, had been linked with AC Milan, Barcelona, Tottenham, and West Ham during the January transfer window.
However, a temporary switch to Villa could offer him a fresh start and a chance to rebuild his reputation after a difficult two-year spell.
Villa, currently pushing for a Premier League top-four finish and competing in the Champions League knockout stages, could benefit from a motivated Rashford eager to prove himself.
Manager Unai Emery is expected to address the speculation before their game against Wolves on Saturday.
Rashford has been seeking an exit from Old Trafford since being dropped by United boss Ruben Amorim for poor performances, including missing 12 consecutive matches.
Amorim recently hinted at his frustration with Rashford, suggesting he would rather include a 63-year-old goalkeeping coach in the squad than reinstate the England international.
With Monday’s transfer deadline approaching, Rashford appears set to secure his departure from United.
Meanwhile, the club has bolstered its defense by signing 18-year-old England youth international Ayden Heaven from Arsenal.
The young centre-back has committed to a contract until 2029 and will immediately join Amorim’s squad.
KanyiDaily recalls that Manchester United were previously considering using Marcus Rashford, for a swap deal with Victor Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray.
