Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has responded after the Ogun State Police Command declared him wanted.
Portable and his crew have been in the news recently following allegations that they assaulted government officials in Ogun.
In a new development, the police announced that the singer is wanted over the alleged violent attack on state officials who were carrying out their duties.
Authorities also warned that anyone found assisting or sheltering him would face legal consequences.
Reacting to the situation on his Instagram story, Portable denied any wrongdoing, insisting that the arrest warrant was an attempt to bring him down.
“I didn’t k!ll anybody. If anything happens to me, there will be trouble. They should post the evidence of where I fought them at my bar. They are evil people, and they are lying against me. Just kill me and let everywhere scatter,” he wrote.
In another post, the singer pleaded with the Ogun State government for forgiveness, claiming he was under spiritual attack.
“All this evil thing wey dey happen to me na spiritual attack. God save me. Am facing a lot of sicknesses all over my body. Am taking care of myself. Pain in my body. Make Ogun State government forgive me,” he said.
KanyiDaily recalls that Portable recently criticized his father for not stepping in to defend him after he was declared wanted by the police.
