Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has vowed to stay out of trouble after his recent legal battle with the Ogun State government.
His statement comes shortly after he was granted ₦2 million bail following allegations of assaulting government officials at his bar.
KanyiDaily recalls that Portable, who was initially declared wanted by the police, later turned himself in and faced legal proceedings before securing his release.
Following his freedom, the singer took to Instagram to share a music video, emphasizing his new focus on making money and avoiding unnecessary troubles.
Grateful for overcoming his legal challenges, he wrote: “Alhamdulilahi for everything 🙏 ZAzuu. No more wahala, na money I dey look for. If you no get money, call God ✍🏻.”
Known for his controversial persona and frequent run-ins with the law, Portable now seems intent on taking a more cautious path. However, fans are divided on whether he can truly steer clear of trouble, given his history of public controversies.
