Nigerian TikToker, Olumide Ogunsanwo, popularly known as “SeaKing,” has urged the police to focus on capturing kidnappers rather than prioritizing cyberbullying cases.

His reaction follows the abduction of Prince Eniola Ojajuni, the National President of the Afenifere Youth Council, who is currently pleading for his life in captivity.

Prince Eniola Ojajuni was kidnapped by gunmen demanding a N100 million ransom, threatening to kill him if the payment was not made by 3 PM on Monday.

In a viral video, a kidnapper is seen pointing an AK-47 at his chest as he begs Nigerians for financial assistance to secure his release.

“Nigerians, please help me! Your donation—N100,000, N50,000, or N1,000,000—can go a long way in saving my life.

“My name is Prince Eniola Ojajuni. God bless you. Aderohunmu, please help me spread this video,” he pleaded.

Reacting in a TikTok video, Sea King criticized the police for using their resources to track and arrest people accused of cyberbullying or criticizing the government while failing to go after criminals who openly share videos online.

He pointed out the irony in law enforcement’s ability to swiftly track and arrest those who criticize the authorities but not criminals openly flaunting their activities.

Sea King stated, “This is one of the Yoruba Youth leaders who had been kidnapped, pleading for his life, begging Nigerians that they should help him.

“Kidnappers oo, please Nigerian Police, these are the people you should be tracking down. All this your cyberbullying, cyber-stalking that you are tracking down, that you are tracking people that are speaking the truth, sharp you have tracked someone who abused IGP; you have tracked him down, you will be saying cyberbullying, cyber something.

“These are the people (kidnappers) you are supposed to be tracking. These are the people that are bullying the cyberspace. Imagine Kidnappers posting; they will post online, but you cannot track them. These are the people you are supposed to be tracking.”

He said, “These are the people that are bullying the cyberspace. They are the ones doing cyberbullying. Track them down.

“The same tools you use to monitor critics and those speaking out online — use them to track kidnappers,” Seaking added.
