The family of the late Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, is mourning following the death of his first child, Bisola Kola-Daisi.
Bisola 44, died in The United Kingdom after a brief illness.
Bisola, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s luxury retail scene was the Managing Director of Grandex Nigeria Ltd., a leading FMCG retail and wholesale chain established in 1984, and the founder of the prestigious Florence H. Luxury boutique.
She was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi and was serving as the Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu.
Her father, late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, served as governor of Oyo State from 2011 to 2019.
He died in June 2020 due to complications from COVID-19.
