Nigerian singer, Portable has hit back at Fuji icon Saheed Osupa after the veteran musician vowed to deal with him, despite Portable’s public apology over their ongoing feud.
The dispute started when Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, insulted Osupa in a viral video, calling him “big for nothing.”
The controversy stemmed from Portable allegedly using a line from Osupa’s song without permission, leading to the track’s removal.
Facing criticism from fans, Portable later issued a public apology, admitting he let his temper get the best of him.
He pleaded for forgiveness, saying: “My fans, I’m a hot-tempered person. I have said my mind, and it has ended. King Saheed Osupa, Oba Orin, please don’t be offended. It was money that caused our fight. Please, my daddy, forgive me and accept me as your child.”
However, despite his apology, a new video surfaced showing Saheed Osupa performing at an event, where he appeared to send a warning to Portable.
In a viral video, the Fuji legend said, “You will still be dealt with. I’m coming. If you come for someone older than you, area boys will be deceiving you. They’ll tell you they’re frying eggs so you can eat your bread. They’ll fry yam and egg for you, and even tell you Yamarita is ready, you’ll still be dealt with. Not now, but it’s coming.”
The video quickly spread across social media, with many speculating that Osupa had no intention of letting the issue slide.
After seeing the clip, Portable wasted no time responding.
Taking to social media, the singer fired back at Osupa, making it clear that he wasn’t the only one capable of being ruthless.
