Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has reportedly been invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over a payment dispute involving ₦23.5 million.
Popular blogger, Stella Dimokokorkus said the rapper is expected to appear before the EFCC in Benin City, Edo State, on April 15, 2025.
It was gathered that the issue stems from a performance the rapper was paid for but failed to attend the show.
Odumodublvck was allegedly booked to perform at an empowerment event in Asaba and received half of his ₦47 million performance fee—₦23.5 million—as an upfront payment.
However, on the day he was supposed to perform, the rapper was seen at a different event elsewhere in the eastern region.
The event organizer, Raphael Obrike, who made the payment, is also expected to meet with the EFCC over the matter.
Reports claim that Odumodublvck and his team are now proposing to return the money in installments.
However, critics argue that since the full amount was paid in one go, the refund should also be made in full.
KanyiDaily recalls that Odumodublvck, whose real name is Tochukwu Ojogwu, recently showed off his children to the public for the first time.
