Veteran Nigerian artist Eedris Abdulkareem has called on Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, to speak up about the struggles ordinary Nigerians are facing.
In a newly released song titled “Tell Your Papa”, Abdulkareem responds directly to Seyi Tinubu’s recent comments, where he boldly declared his father the greatest president in Nigeria’s history during an event in Adamawa State.
Using the song as a form of protest, Abdulkareem criticized Seyi for being out of touch with the reality on the ground.
He highlighted the country’s ongoing challenges—rising insecurity, economic hardship, and government inaction.
In the lyrics, Abdulkareem urges Seyi to “tell your papa say country hard,” adding that people are dying and living in fear.
He also challenges Seyi to travel by road without security, just like everyday Nigerians, to understand what they go through.
The song echoes the frustration many citizens feel, accusing the president’s son of ignoring the country’s problems while enjoying the comforts of wealth and privilege.
“Seyi, tell your papa country hard. Tell your papa people dey die. Tell your papa this one don pass jagajaga,” Eedris Abdulkareem.
“Seyi, how far? I swear your papa no try. Too much empty promises. On behalf of Nigerians, take our message to him; kidnappers dey kill Nigerians.
“Seyi, try travel by road without your security make you feel the pains of fellow Nigerians. You dey fly private jets, insecurity no be your problem.”
